Every beginning has to start somewhere, and for this build, it was this beautiful donor bike. 

This is a beautiful beginning! 

The XS650 is a super reliable machine. The 70's was a great decade for foreign motorcycles. 

1977 XS650 is a solid machine, very reliable. 

The process of de-tabbing a frame is actually quite fun, I found the metal work to be a hit-and I loved everything related to this type of work on the bike.

There aren't too many parts to the bike when you get it cleaned down to all she needs.

This shot was taken up at the U of U and shows off a pretty bike the XS is. I love the motor and how the lines are so simple on it. Keeping that clean look is what it's all about.
